I let the Wright's attitude of self-reliance and efficiency inspire me to do the work on this website myself without spending a penny.

When I started working on the site I read a few library books and tried a few different trial versions of web design programs without buying any of them. 

I looked into hiring someone, but finally decided to create the site myself, using software I already had. From writing all of the text, to creating the buttons, to editing html and meta tags, I've done it all using old programs and not spending a penny. The only cost for www.soartosuccess.net is the annual registration fee and the monthly fee to for hosting.

The important thing is that I launched my site and got it off the ground. Like the Wrights, I'll eventually get to the point where I'll need to hire professionals while I focus my energy elsewhere. But for now, like the Wright Flyer, this site is hand-built. It may not be pretty, but it gets the job done.
